Anti Bullying Squad

Friendship, Empathy, and Support

How I started

I started the Anti-Bullying Squad because I knew what it felt like to be on the other side. In 3rd grade, I was teased, excluded, and made to feel like I didn’t belong. It wasn’t just the words or the silence, it was the way it chipped at my confidence day after day. For a long time, I carried that question in my head: why do people hurt others just to feel powerful? ABS was my way of taking back that power for every student who ever felt the same loneliness. I wanted to create the space I never had: somewhere you could speak without being judged, be heard without being dismissed, and know you weren’t alone. What began as me trying to make sense of my own pain turned into a movement where thousands of voices could finally rise together.

Timeline

2018 - 2020

Blog and Workshops

I created a blog - Anti Bullying Squad - at age 9, a platform where students could share their experiences anonymously and safely. I also began conducting peer-to-peer workshops in schools offline and online.

2021 - 2023

NGO Collaborations and Online Program

I collaborated with NGOs like Bramble Network (Nigeria), Bhumi (India), and Routes2roots (India) for outreach. I also created an online program titled Bullying: Deep Dive with 1000+ students.

2023 - 2025

Kavach App, RTI Activism, Comic

I led a team of adolescents to develop adolescent mental health app Kavach. I also authored Anny’s Band of Brave, a manga-style comic exploring the emotional roots of bullying. I pursued policy change by filing RTI petitions on school bullying responses and analyzing government data.

See what an anti-bullying session is really like!
